Omar Ait Ahmed was born and raised in Imlil, the mountain village at the foot of Mount Toubkal. He grew up on these trails — and today, as a state-certified mountain guide, he leads travellers from around the world across the summits, valleys and deserts of Morocco.
From the snow-capped ridges of the High Atlas to the golden dunes of the Sahara, every route Omar guides is one he knows personally — its shepherd paths, its weather moods, its Berber villages and the families who live there.
